Project Description:
For Exhibition we had to make miniature golf courses based around a physics concept that a famous physicist came up with. I didn't make a golf course though. Me and my group were the organization crew and really planned it all. I made two infographs based around Terracycle and the damage of plastic utensils. Both these were displayed on exhibition. I also took photos over the process of making exhibition and made them into a slide show that is shown below. During exhibition, I talked to people about things like the impact of plastic items and way that you can avoid it. Also alternatives from using plastic utensils.
The main purpose for doing this was for one, to teach people about physics concepts. Also to strike people about the damage and affect of not recycling and plastic waste. To do that, on the night of exhibition people would play there golf courses and listen to the creators about their concept and how it ties into their golf course. For my group though we talked to people about the damage of plastic of utensils and alternatives they could be using. Also we sold food as well.
Exhibition Reflection:
Overall, I enjoyed exhibition and thought it went well. My only problem is that I didn't get to talk to a lot of people because most of them were playing the golf courses. I do think everyone got their point across on what they were trying to say. So exhibition was a success. Something i'd change is the organization, but that's with every exhibition i've done. I just in some parts felt confused on where I should be and what I should be doing.
This exhibition was probably one of the more unique ones I've done. usually it would be people walk up to us, then we explain something to them, after they look around at all the cool scenery, and then that's it. This was more hands on for the parents and also everyone else who came in. They could play through a golf course but also still learn something. Which I think went well and also blended good together too.
