Star Logo Nova is coding website that allows a person to create or design a game of their own. In this project our class had to design a new game or create a brand new one out of code. After we'd completed our games they'd be displayed on exhibition for parents or fellow students to play.
The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd benchmarks of the project were basically just writing descriptions about your game and how the coding would be done. The 4th is creating 3 questions for yourself to answer and the questions are meant to be about the probability aspect of the game you'd created. The 5th is the game itself, the final product that'd be displayed on exhibition and for people to see. The 7th is the DP update, teaching and telling people about the game incase someone wanted to look at it or try it.
My game is simple to play and control. It's just a board game where a dice roll would decide how many spaces your piece/player would move. Except this all done through code. To start the game press,"Start Game". To be able to move your player press,"Move" and it's controlled by the Up, Down, Left, Right arrow keys. To figure out how many spaces to move, simply press,"Roll Dice" and to win, just get around the board once.

For me the Star Logo Nova project was very challenging because I knew absolutely nothing about coding starting out so it was difficult starting out. My greatest success though was teaching myself how to do coding and Star Logo Nova. How I successfully did that was practicing making smaller games,"Starting Small," helped me out in the long run for creating my official game. One thing i'd change is the creativity aspect of my game, I think I could have been more creative with it. The way i'd do that is,"Conjecture and Test," so just trying all these new things to make it better.
